The Otrokovice website presentation shows information regarding the performance of public administration in such a way that even people with disabilities are able to access it to the necessary extent. The website highly complies with the requirements of Decree No. 64/2008 Coll., on the form of publishing information related to public administration on websites for disabled people (Accessibility Decree).
The site uses Java Script and CSS add-ons. Even without these add-ons, the site can be managed in a standard way and is fully operational.
Adobe Flash technology can be used for ads and captions.
The website may also publish information in other than web formats. The reason for this is the fact that such documents either contain typographic elements and formatting that is not supported by the HTML 4.01 Transitional web format, or is too large, and it is advisable to download them. Such documents show their document type and size in kB in square brackets.
To view these documents you can, for example, use the following free browsers downloadable from the Internet:
All sites of the web presentation offer navigation which, among other things, enables skipping individual main blocks. The CSS add-on hides these links, but they appear when browsing the navigation using the keyboard.
A part of the navigation is also a website map. Most pages also have a search form.
The following browsers are always supported, at least in their current and previous version:
The Navigation menu includes, among other things, the "Turn Off/On Graphics" link. The link may be useful for slow Internet connections or less common devices with insufficient CSS support. For cookies support, it retains the last selected information.
When printing the site, the output device receives a version without any unnecessary colours and decorative graphics, largely using basic formatting embedded in browsers, slightly modified to the final version by the CSS add-on. After selecting "Print" in the Navigation menu, the CSS add-on optionally excludes the printing of parts of the site that have no reason to be printed (menu, forms, etc.). The option requires Java Script support, otherwise only the meaningful content is printed without any other option.
